Some yoga practices ask you to build strength.
Others ask you to build endurance.
Yin Yoga invites something different.
Instead of moving from pose to pose, you'll settle into supported postures and remain there for several minutes at a time. The slower pace gives you the opportunity to notice what happens when you stop trying to achieve the next thing and simply become present with your body.
It's one of the reasons so many people are drawn to Yin Yoga—and why it's become surprisingly difficult to find.
Throughout the practice, Alyssa will gently guide you through each posture while offering optional Reiki during your final resting pose. As you settle into stillness, Arlessa's crystal singing bowls create an immersive soundscape that invites you to rest even more deeply.
The combination is both grounding and restorative. You may notice your body softening, your breathing becoming easier, or simply appreciate the rare experience of having nowhere to be for the next ninety minutes.
No prior yoga experience is necessary, and flexibility is never the goal. Yin Yoga meets you where you are, allowing your practice to unfold at your own pace.
